The table tops are constructed by gluing pieces of two inch rough sawn pine together. The table legs are made from four inch by four inch rough sawn pine timbers and are tucked under the center area of the table to allow chairs and benches to be completely pushed under the table when not being used. Typically, trestle style tables, tend to be larger and seat large volumes of people. Any size table can be built. Need room for more? We custom build rustic tables with expandable leaves. Leaves come in two foot sizes and can be added to any table for an additional cost. The special expandable table mechanism allows the table to change size to accommodate extra people. When we build your table with a leaf we build the table as a solid piece first and then cut it into three separate pieces which insures that the pieces will all line up once placed together. Our table leaves do not store inside the table, they will need to be stored elsewhere when not being used.
